  • Article Type Filters Updated to Reflect MeSH Changes to Publication Types March 31, 2026
    ​The article type filters in PubMed have been updated to reflect Annual MeSH Processing (AMP) updates to Publication Types, including discontinued publication types from the past several years.
  • PubMed 2026 Baseline Released January 30, 2026
    ​The National Library of Medicine (NLM) has released the 2026 production year PubMed Baseline files and regular daily updates have resumed. NOTE: All baseline files must be downloaded and processed PRIOR to loading the first and subsequent update files.
  • PubMed 2026 Baseline Release Scheduled January 23, 2026
    The release of updated MEDLINE citations with 2026 MeSH is scheduled for the week of January 26, 2026. The National Library of Medicine (NLM) expects to temporarily suspend the addition of fully indexed MEDLINE citations to PubMed the week of January 26, 2026.
